Students access Auslan Bilingual Preschool through the Department for Education’s state-wide specialised options placement process. The preschool provides a specialised early learning environment for deaf and hard of hearing children, where they develop language, communication, and social skills in both Auslan and English. Through play-based and intentional teaching, children are supported to build strong foundations for learning and wellbeing. Partnerships with families are central to the programme, ensuring a connected and consistent approach to each child’s development.
